Enhanced ActevaRSVP Version with Waitlisting Feature Now Available on Salesforce.com’s AppExchange |
| |
With ActevaRSVP 2.0, salesforce.com customers and partners can easily ensure their events are not overbooked |
| |
| SAN FRANCISCO – Salesforce.com Dreamforce Conference – November 3, 2008 |
|
Acteva today announced the availability of ActevaRSVP 2.0 for salesforce.com’s AppExchange. ActevaRSVP lets
Salesforce users know who is coming to their event and gather details about their needs and preferences. Unlike
solutions that force users to use two different applications, ActevaRSVP resides within the Salesforce user interface,
making it extremely easy to use. |
|
| With the release of this enhanced version of ActevaRSVP, event organizers now have the ability to manage capacity
overflow for their event. Those registering for a ‘full’ event are offered a spot on the waitlist. The waitlist is completely
managed by the event organizer, with options to flag waitlisted people as eligible or ineligible for registration, and send
regret emails to those determined to be ineligible. As space becomes available, the organizer can send RSVP emails to
the waitlist. |
|
In addition to the new waitlist feature, ActevaRSVP 2.0 includes the following enhancements:
- ActevaRSVP activities now have their own section within the Salesforce lead or contact
record, so all Salesforce
users can more easily distinguish RSVP activities from other Salesforce activities
- Communications can be sent on behalf of another by specifying a "from" name and address in ActevaRSVP
group email
- Registration acknowledgements can be customized with the organization’s branding
and messaging
- New fields differentiate between "invited by friend" or “invitation forwarded” for more detailed tracking and
reporting
- More support for clients with international events with the addition of a ‘country’ field on registration forms

Jason Stewart, the author of the popular blog “Best Practices in B2B Demand Generation” and a Senior Marketing
Manager at lead generation technology company Demandbase, was given a sneak preview of ActevaRSVP 2.0.
“ActevaRSVP is an elegant solution that takes the pain out of
event follow-up,” he says. “This is looking like the must-have
application for event managers or corporate training teams using Salesforce.com.” |
