
Mini-mini-mini Dreamforce
Our August user group meeting. This meeting will have a combination of 3 key topics: Marketing, Sales, and Adv Admin/Baby Dev.
The Marketing track, Knowing when to pull the trigger, will focus around lead generation and qualification. We have Joshua Tillman from Refractive dialer bring in a customer to present how they utilize the tool to bring in more leads and their qualification process. The Sales will be on how to defog that crystal ball, pipeline/forecast management. Michael Bonner from Pipeline Manager will review what is a forecast and review some of the key elements he's seen with how companies are doing their forecasting with Salesforce. Also he'll be raffling away an iPod Nano. The Adv Admin/Baby Dev will focus on getting started with Eclipse and how set up your first site. Micaiah Filkins from Force by Design will be showing us the basics of Eclipse and how to start publishing some of your data in Salesforce to the outside world and what best practices to use in doing so. As of Aug 14th: 67 people have registered.
Just to let you know how the meetings will happen here's the break down. Sales and Marketing are in the same room. Refractive Dialer will present first followed by discussion around Marketing activities. Between 11:45 and 12:00 noon you'll pick up your box lunch. Then Pipeline Manager will present for 20 mins again followed by discussions around sales topics of your choice. The Advance Admin/Dev group will be in a separate room for the whole duration.
